A summary of what you get when you subscribe to xGstats and an explanation of what each stat means.
The xG reports are sent out every Monday (for the weekend games) and Thursday (for midweek games) and they offer a clear and concise wrap-up of all the xG numbers in the Premier League, Championship, League One, League Two, National League and cup competitions.
xG Stats Sheets
The stats sheets are where you can delve in deep.
The interactive club sheets allow you to select a club (or multiple clubs) and see their match-by match xG numbers. You can filter results by competition, home/away, opponent type etc. So if you want to check how Crewe have performed at home in the league to bottom half clubs you can do so in just a couple of clicks. Want to see whether Leicester’s away games v the big 6 have been open games or tight affairs? Not a problem, just a click away.
There are also various league tables (overall, home/away, recent game form etc) that feature various sortable xG categories including xG for and against, xG goal difference, expected points, expected over/under goals, breakdown of shots (big chances, half chances, low chances, penalties etc) and many more.
There are also traditional stats – corners, cards, clean sheets, fail to score, both team to score etc and tables for referees and managers.
Articles & Analysis
We try not to just provide a load of numbers but to give context and summarise the main points from those numbers.
